Midwest Sprint Touring Series
MSTS Awards, Social Event set for Feb. 3 in Sioux Falls
Teams, drivers and sponsors are invited to celebrate the successful 2023 season of the Midwest Sprint Touring Series and prepare for 2024 with a social event and awards gathering on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. The event is at Shenanigans Sports Bar & Grill (1903 S Ellis Rd, Sioux Falls) from 5 to 8 p.m. and in conjunction with the awards night for the Sioux Empire Cleaning Late Model Street Stock Touring Series.
Attendees will be able to order off the full Shenanigans menu.
Awards and point fund checks will be handed out for qualifying MSTS teams from the 2023 MSTS 360 series. Additional details will be available on the upcoming 2024 season for the MSTS 360 and MSTS 410 series.
Cody Ledger of Omaha, Nebraska, took the crown as champion of the Gunderson Racing Inc. MSTS 360s in 2023, edging out Brant O’Banion for top honors. Micah Slendy’s successful rookie campaign culminated with a third-place finish in points. Chuck McGillivray and Chritopher Thram completed the top five in standings. Eighty different drivers took a green flag in competitive action with the series in 2023.
The 2024 season is set to kick off in May in what will be a historic year for MSTS. In addition to the tradition 360 series, MSTS will now bring a 410 sprint car circuit to life – bringing outlaw sprint car racing to new venues and fans across the Upper Midwest.
